Rules are made to break

In this project, I am inspired by surrealism and it is about freedom and restrict. And the research would basic on geometrics, lines and body parts as hand signs. So far I have looked at Moholy-Nagy, Johannes Itten, Pedro Friedberg, Piet Mondrian and a fashion brand called Opening Ceremony.

I will find my research through Internet, books and museums. For instance, the Art of the Brick exhibition at Brick Lane, books like Pedro Friedberg, Mexico Colour. In this project I would some paintings and make some body parts sculpture and paint on them. I would like my work to present a feeling of living out of the rules; being free and let our life gets its colour. By putting my design on, they could light up their life and no matter how boring it is, there are always something can make people smile.
