YIXI'S CV

I am a painter and a textile designer that earned my MA degree at Chelsea College of Art and Design, I am specialist in digital print. I am particular interested in geometric and lines. That is probably because I love playing cube and puzzle since I was a kid. I always want to be a kid again because it means happiness and all different kind of imaginations. Colouring is one of my favourite things to do since I was a kid. I always love to fill in everything with colours. I guess this is why you can see there are so many colours and shapes in my painting and my design. And I love working on 3D to 2D, deconstruct and reconstruct, it helps me develop my work.  I adore the artists like Tony Cragg, Joan Moro, Wassily Kandinsky and Augusta Herbin. I feel happy, fun and excited when I look at their works, that is what I want to become. Being an artist that can make people happy and evoke profound thoughts.

About my art

Celebrate our life. Discovering the small, normal but interesting thing. Even our life is terrible, but we can still find something that make us smile. I do want my creations to light up your life and find your innocence.
